Exploring the National Community College Benchmark Project (NCCBP)

This workshop will introduce attendees to the National Community College Benchmark Project (NCCBP): Traditional Indicators, Cost & Productivity Project, Workforce Training/Continuing Education Benchmarking, Student Services Benchmarking, Administrative Services Benchmarking, Enrollment Tracking. A demonstration of each module within the NCCBP will show attendees the nuts and bolts of each project, including the key metrics in the project, data entry requirements and tips, and navigating the websites. Demonstrating the reporting tools for each project will be emphasized, showing how to build peer and custom reports and charts. The workshop will show how to download, print, and manipulate the data and we will also share some of the ways our members use the project data. This workshop will be held in a computer lab but you can bring your laptop or tablet with you if you want. Exercises will include actually using your college's data, but if you are not currently a member we will provide you with data from "Emerald City Community College" to use. This workshop will be a great opportunity to ask any questions about the projects or make suggestions.
